Ok, so it’s been a few weeks since my diet mishap and things are just about back to normal. I can at least function each day without brain fog and have been able to start a routine back; it’s a good feeling.

AS is a rheumatic illness that primarily affects the spine, but it can affect other joints, as well as the heart, the lungs and the eyes. Ankylosing Spondylitis is NOT Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) – it is its own demon. It’s a demon I wrestle every day. Most days are good, others are a struggle; but as long as there is movement in my body, I am triumphant.
